On this World AIDS Day 2021, Encore+ is proud to present the YouTube Premiere of the iconic film Zero Patience introduced by filmmaker John Greyson, producer Anna Stratton and actor John Robinson as they revisit the film's creation.

Singing and dancing its way through a gloriously entertaining exposé with cheeky defiance and stinging wit, Zero Patience explodes the myths surrounding AIDS while turning conventional thinking on its head. This raunchy romp about sex, science and scapegoats tells the story of Patient Zero, the French Canadian flight attendant accused of bringing AIDS to North America. The film’s combination of activist zeal and aesthetic playfulness earned director John Greyson pride of place in the emerging New Queer Cinema movement.
